Akira Sato is 31 years old, born and raised in a small town of Japan. He grew up skateboarding with his brother before getting to try snowboarding on a school trip. After that he begged his parents for his own snowboard and have been riding ever since.

Vika Henderson started snowboarding in a small DIY park on a tiny hill behind her school in Poland. It wasn't even a hill, it was basically just a pile of dirt, just enough to get speed for a run. She snowboarded there for a couple of years before moving to Japan and getting to ride powder for the first time.
